To all our European members
Thank you very much for your continued participation. This is a notice regarding the upcoming Summer Time change.
Dear friends in Europe,
This is a reminder that European Summer Time begins on Sunday, March 29. The United States has already switched to Daylight Saving Time on March 8, and now it is Europe's turn. Please remember to set your clocks forward by one hour on that day.
As Japan does not observe Summer Time (Daylight Saving Time), the time difference between Japan and Europe will decrease by one hour. This means that, starting from March 29, the meeting time in your local time will be one hour later than before.
For example (evening meeting at 9:00 PM Japan Time):
Before March 29: 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 12:00 PM noon (GMT, United Kingdom) 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 1:00 PM (CET, Poland) 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 2:00 PM (EET, Lithuania) 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 3:00 PM (MSK, Russia)
From March 29 onward: 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 1:00 PM (BST, United Kingdom) 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 2:00 PM (CEST, Poland) 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 3:00 PM (EEST, Lithuania) 9:00 PM (Japan Time) = 3:00 PM (MSK, Russia)
Note: Russia does not observe Daylight Saving Time, so the meeting time in Russia remains the same.
Please be aware of this change and adjust your schedule accordingly.
Infinite Gratitude, Masaharu SAITO
