This is to share with you memo of the topics that did not appear in the brochure of the SOPP.

Opening remarks by Yuka Sensei

Masami Sensei was naturally planning to join in this live broadcast of today, but yesterday morning, an urgent divine instruction was given to her. Following that, Masami Sensei immediately departed for Okinawa. According to her, she is moving today from Okinawa to the Japan Sea coastal areas on mainland Japan, to fulfil prayers to the underground. Of course, Masami Sensei desired to attend the SOPP and to connect live with you, but in this circumstance, she is connecting with this event through the prayer. She has given us a message that our reawakened divine sanctity is very important and requested us to engage in the event by exerting all the power of our divine and sacred consciousness.

Presentation of Fuji Declaration by Hiroo Sensei

This year marks the 7th year since the inauguration of the Fuji Declaration. Seven years ago, in 2015, about 200 signatories and 60 international organizations cooperated to the establishment of the declaration. We firstly had an international conference at the United Nations University in Tokyo. In it, we discussed various contents of the declaration from viewpoints of diverse fields, and then on the basis of it, we formally announced inauguration of the declaration in the SOPP that took place in Fuji Sanctuary the following day.

This Fuji Declaration has two important points. One is that human beings originally are good and sacred existences. The declaration expresses it through the term Divine Spark. Another is that all human beings are interconnected with all others, with nature, and with the universe. Reviving these two important sense of value is the greatest aim of the Fuji Declaration. Based on it, various projects have been born, attracting to them increasing numbers of sympathizers.

At present, the world is in a very difficult, critical condition. In it, how can we expand the aforementioned thought and sense of value? I confidently believe that the answer to this will be one of the greatest and final measures to save the world. The Ukrainian issue is driving the world into a catastrophic condition. It truly aches our minds to see many citizens including children, women, and elderly being killed, deprived of their houses, and lose everything. However, no progress can be made just by grieving over these conditions and looking at them with a sense of pity.

I dare to say at the risk of misunderstanding that people—including those who have not experienced a war—need to inscribe once again in their hearts, how empty and tragic a war is. And I would like them to reconfirm the importance of peace. Unless we make this incident an opportunity for this learning, all those sacrificial deaths will be totally in vain. We need to learn futility of war from this incident, and unite our hearts toward peace. By so doing, we believe that the souls of the people who died in the war will be uplifted for the first time. In this respect too, we are confident that the revival of the two sense of value indicated in the Fuji Declaration will prove to be very important to create a peaceful world. With this in mind, we would like to powerfully continue promoting diverse activities of the Fuji Declaration.

Message of Dr. Laszlo

Why Fuji Declaration? Why do we need it? Mt. Fuji is globally famous as the symbol of peace and spirituality. The Fuji Declaration was born through the profound understanding of human true essence and about how the world ought to be. We named this declaration Fuji Declaration, after Mt. Fuji.

A war we had never imagined broke out. But even in the middle of the conflict and violence, human true essence—divine spark—cannot be lost. Peace does not simply mean a condition without war. Human beings need to think where they should head for when all wars have disappeared. Fuji Declaration indicates it to us. The spirit of Mt. Fuji can unite the world into one. We must express it within us. If there is peace within us, it will enable us to achieve peace in the world.

May peace prevail on Earth
