Program for April 23
- Sudan
In Sudan, conflict is continuing between the national forces and RSF (Rapid Support Forces). The UN reported on the 18th that up to now, at lease 270 people have been killed in battles. The condition is critical due to violation of ceasefire agreement by both sides.
- Myanmar
Myanmar’s military regime is determined to steadfastly crack down the opposing NUG (National Unity Government) even by giving air attacks. On April 18, they attacked a village in norther part of the country and killed 168 villagers—the worse ever—who were attending a ceremony of NUG.
- North Korea
North Korea launched more than 60 ICBM in 2022. This year they have already launched 12 ICBM. They are also intending to launch SAMOS (satellite and missile observation system) to observe South Korean and U.S. military bases. They seem to think that the only choice they have is to use nuclear weapons.
- Russia and Ukraine
Russian Defense Minister announced that they had put 2 districts in Bakhmut under their control. On April 17, President Putin visited southern and eastern Ukraine and demonstrated Russian control of these areas.
