Join us as East meets West to discover MLK's connection with Japan and his call for a world free of Nuclear Weapons. Sadly, his scheduled trip to Japan in August of 1968 was not fulfilled due to his assassination four months earlier.

Welcome special guest speakers Lisa Huber, National Peace Academy USA, and Dot Maver, who will lead us in a Global Silent Minute. The program will be attended by many of our relatives from Japan, with the simultaneous interpretation offered by Kumiko Zushi.
