260124 – Video Prayer Gathering – Yuka-sensei and Rika-sensei

[Yuka-sensei]

Everyone, thank you very much for participating in the “Video Prayer Gathering” on January 24. We appreciate your presence again today.

January is already coming to an end so quickly—how have you all been spending your time?

Yesterday, by chance, I visited the Fuji Sanctuary together with Masami-sensei. The weather at the Fuji Sanctuary was wonderful yesterday, so in the areas where the sunlight reached, there was no snow at all. However, in shaded areas among the trees and along the paths, a little snow still remained. As I walked, I found myself thinking, “Ah, this really is the Fuji Sanctuary in winter.” Rika-sensei, please.

[Rika-sensei]

At last, the cold season has arrived. Everyone, are you keeping yourselves warm?

The New Year Celebration Festival held at 11:00 on January 11 had the date and time “11111,” with five ones(1) lined up, corresponding to GO (5) of GOI-sensei. I felt it was a fitting opening for the era of GOI-sensei. I sensed Light in that, and I felt that this would be a “year of hope.”

However, when we look around the world, we see things such as the U.S. military attack in Venezuela on January 3, anti-government demonstrations in Iran, and many other events. It truly feels as though sparks are flying again as soon as January began.

This year, according to the Japanese zodiac, is the year of “Hinoe-Uma,” which comes once every sixty years. It is said to be a year of fire, and indeed, I feel this fiery energy (Energy of Hi)—the powerful fire (Hi) energy that manifests outwardly.

In my own personal life as well, since entering January, although not major conflicts, I have received sharp, aggressive words from others. Through this, I felt that I was being guided to reflect inwardly.

What this means is that, through interactions with others, I realized that there were parts of my words and attitudes that had a sharp edge to them.

According to GOI-sensei’s teachings, although it is the same “Hi,” Japan is the “origin of the Sun (Hi: Sun)” and the “origin of Spirit (Hi: Spirit).” Therefore, this “Hi” is not the forceful “Hi” of fire, but rather the “Hi” that integrates and harmonizes everything.

While resonating with the Spirit (Hi), the life at the depths of our hearts, we would like to harmonize well with the outwardly visible fire (Hi). By doing so, using the activation of the outer fire (Hi) as an opportunity, I feel that this may become a year in which we can deepen the “inner Spirit Hi.”

The fires raging fiercely outside cause great pain to the heart, so today, together with all of you, as we pray for each country one by one, I hope that we can quietly add the deep power of “Spirit Hi” to the various phenomena now occurring and guide them toward world peace. Thank you very much for being here today. Now, let us begin with GOI-sensei’s Prayer for World Peace.

Prayer for World Peace

Thank you very much. Before beginning the Prayers for the Peace of Each Country in each national language, I would like to read a poem by GOI-sensei.

Since it is January, I will read a poem that GOI-sensei wrote about the work of the New Year. It is a piece that describes what kind of state of mind the New Year gives to us. The title is “Renewed Life.” I would like to read it slowly, so please listen.

Reading of GOI-sensei’s Poem

“Renewed Life”

From “Hibiki” by Masahisa Goi

Purifying impure thoughts, one claps hands in the sunlit garden of the New Year.

The words “New Year” truly carry a mysterious resonance.

Although it is said that one’s heart is renewed, from these words one senses a subtle inspiration that truly makes the heart new.

From November to December is one month, and from December to January is also one month. Though both are the same one month, this transition gives the human heart a profound sense of difference—especially so for Japanese people.

The trees in the garden, heaven and earth alike, are undoubtedly a continuation of yesterday, yet on New Year’s Day, heaven and earth, mountains and rivers, grasses and trees—all seem to possess a fresh light and a new resonance in the human heart.

With the turning of the year, people naturally seek to find new vitality, new ideals, and new paths for life within their hearts.

People uniformly say, “Happy New Year.”

Whether fortunate or not, in many different circumstances, the wish to celebrate the New Year lies latent within the hearts of Japanese people.

The flow of human life is like the water of a river: the water seen here yesterday is not the same as the water seen today. Yesterday’s water has already flowed far away. Human life is likewise an unbroken flow of light and does not remain in one place.

Human beings, as physical beings, flow along carrying various thoughts upon the stream of life. Just as yesterday’s life is not today’s life, yesterday’s thoughts are not today’s thoughts. Therefore, yesterday’s you is not today’s you.

No matter what good deeds yesterday’s you may have done, it was not today’s you who did them. Likewise, the mistakes of yesterday’s you were not committed by today’s you. Therefore, there is no need to take pride in yesterday’s good deeds, nor to lament yesterday’s mistakes. All of these are merely thoughts and actions that have already faded away.

Human beings need only live each moment correctly, purely, and filled with love and truth.

The New Year is auspicious because it reminds us anew of such a way of living.

With New Year’s Day as a turning point, people should strive to fully live each day with renewed life.

That is all. Thank you very much. This is GOI-sensei’s message: “There is no need to cling to anything. There is no need to fixate on anything. Days simply flow by, so while entrusting various thoughts to the Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits, live each present moment with all your heart.”

At the start of this new year, January 2026, being able to renew our awareness in this way truly leads to a sense of resolve and determination to begin the year, and I believe it provides a very good orientation of consciousness at the starting point of creating the year. Yuka-sensei, how did this poem resonate with you?

[Yuka-sensei]

Yes, Rika-sensei. Thank you, as always, for choosing such a perfect poem by GOI-sensei for each moment. As I listened, I found myself wondering, “Which part is resonating with the members?” and thinking, “Surely everyone’s heart is resting on the same part.”

As Rika-sensei mentioned earlier, the lines “There is no need to take pride in yesterday’s good deeds, nor to judge yesterday’s mistakes,” and “All of these are merely thoughts and actions that have already faded away,” remained deeply with me.

Of course, this also includes “the fading away,” and one’s own “regrets”—those too have already disappeared. At the same time, I was reminded that we can also end up clinging to our positive thoughts, such as “I did so much” or “I’ve become able to do this and that.”

Also, the image at the very beginning—GOI-sensei clapping his hands in the garden while bathed in the New Year’s sunlight—was incredibly touching to me. Seeing GOI-sensei alone in the garden, clapping his hands in the New Year while receiving the morning sun, gently moved my heart.

It is difficult to put into words, but in that姿 and action, I felt as though he was connected to all life, purifying everything in that moment, and clapping his hands with the heart of the Universal God, calling for all life and all thoughts to awaken. It felt as though my heart was firmly grasped. That is my impression. Thank you.

[Rika-sensei]

Yes, the special Light of the New Year Celebration Festival is the same. It is a precious work in which GOI-sensei takes upon himself all the fading-away forms of the past, of everything up to last year, and delivers new Light, the celebratory Light of the New Year, to everyone.

Even after moving on to the heavenly and divine realms, GOI-sensei continues to deliver to us the celebratory Light of the New Year—the very first Light, the most important Light at the beginning of the year.

That special Light is GOI-sensei’s grace bestowed upon each and every member as we begin the year. As blessed vessels capable of receiving such Light, I feel that we must return it through work for world peace. Thank you very much.

[Yuka-sensei]

Thank you very much. Whether it is through the New Year Celebration or through today’s poem by GOI-sensei, I feel that we want to focus our strength on what we can do now.

As Rika-sensei mentioned in her opening greeting, many different phenomena are truly appearing in the world right now.

In a situation where, for example, Mr. Trump has withdrawn from the United Nations and various institutions, and people wonder, “What is happening to the world now?”, Rika-sensei and I spoke about how we want to seriously send the Light of prayer for the countries of the world today.

At that time, I recalled something GOI-sensei wrote in the 2025 Byakko Magazine: “Love and harmony are fundamental.”

For people to love one another, for nations to harmonize with one another—love and harmony must be practiced in real life. And even amid situations where people say, “If we are attacked, we must defend ourselves,” we are still able to send vibrations of love and harmony to each individual. We can continue sending the Light of Divine Reawakening to countries all over the world.

As Rika-sensei said, we are able to do this because we are always being bathed in tremendous Light from GOI-sensei and the Universal God.

Grasping from the resonance of today’s poem that “therefore, we are able to fulfill this role,” in the first “Video Prayer Gathering” of January 2026, we would like to send prayers together with all of you to each country of the world, one by one.

Recently, we have been praying for tectonic plates, and praying for Japan and the world divided by continents, but today, after a long time, we will pray for each country of the world one by one in alphabetical order.

In the past, during the Event of Bringing Down the Universal Ultimate Light held at the Fuji Sanctuary, we always performed the Prayers for the Peace of Each Country through the IN of “Jin Rui Soku Kami Nari.”

In this way, in alignment with GOI-sensei’s prayer words, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” we declared “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” read out each country’s name, spoke the word meaning “peace” in that country’s language, and then performed that powerful seal-prayer with the words “Jin Rui Soku Kami. Fu! Fu!” (the sound of exhaling through the nose).

This time, after a long while, I felt that I wanted to send that powerful Light of purification together with the sound “Fu! Fu!” once again. Therefore, today, while playing the video, under the lead of the moderator, after the country name and the word meaning “peace” in that country’s language, we will carry out the main program with the prayer: “Jin Rui Soku Kami Nari” and “Fu! Fu!”

We will send Light that truly understands divinity to each and every country. This is Light, power, and love that can only be delivered because we ourselves are living divinity. Now then, thank you very much.

Thank you very much. With this, today’s main program will come to a close.

Before ending, we would like to share a few announcements and then conclude with greetings.

First, this is an announcement for the lecturers scheduled in April. Originally, in 2026, we had planned to hold the Lecturers’ Training Meeting at the Fuji Sanctuary on April 19. However, it has been decided that it will be held online instead of at the Fuji Sanctuary.

If there are any lecturers who have already arranged reservations such as Shinkansen or flights in anticipation of attending at the Fuji Sanctuary on April 19, we sincerely apologize, but the Lecturers’ Training Meeting will be held online on April 19.

As it will be held online rather than at the Fuji Sanctuary, we ask for your understanding. Thank you very much.

Next, on January 31 of this month, as well as on February 23 next month, and in March, a new event or ceremony will be held once a month at the Fuji Sanctuary.

The name of this event is “A Prayer Method for Myself and the World to Shine,” and it will be held from 11:00 at the Main Hall. Recently, there have not been many events at the Fuji Sanctuary, but starting this January, February, and March, we will be holding this kind of event once a month. Members will gather together at the Main Hall, and the event will consist of talks about the fading-away form and its practice, divided into a first and second half.

If you have time and feel, “I would like to take part in an event at the Fuji Sanctuary together with fellow members after a long while,” please note that there will be events on January 31 and February 23. They are listed in the Byakko Magazine, so please take a look and come to the Fuji Sanctuary if you can.

Additionally, regarding February events, the “Video Prayer Gathering” will be held as usual on February 14 and February 28.

Another announcement: on February 22 at 10:00, this will be online, there will be a gathering called the “Under Three Years Meeting.” As the name suggests, this is an online gathering for those who have been members for less than three years. Once a year, we hold an event where those under three years can gather together. If you are thinking, “I joined, but I still don’t quite understand,” or “I have questions but don’t know whom to ask,” or “I joined alone and would like companions,” please feel free to join the “Under Three Years Meeting” online on February 22.

And finally, one last announcement. After today’s event ends, at 1:30, we will hold an “Inori Card Explanation Session.”

The URL will be different, as it will be held in a different Zoom room. The “Inori Cards,” which Maki-sensei has been leading the development of, are wonderful cards that allow you to look at your own divinity and talk about it together.

From 1:30 today, we will have time to explain and introduce these “Inori Cards.” If you have time, please join us for the Inori Card Explanation Session at 1:30. It will be a gathering where you can learn how to use the cards and what they can be used for going forward. Rika-sensei, do you have any final words?

[Rika-sensei]

Yes. The prayers that Yuka-sensei led were truly wonderful. From midway through, through Yuka-sensei’s words “Jin Rui Soku Kami Nari” and “Fu! Fu!”, the resonance of that kotodama echoed as “Humanity is loved.”

Thus, the energy of “Humanity is already loved” overflowed for each country, together with Yuka-sensei’s lead of “Jin Rui Soku Kami Nari” and “Fu! Fu!”

I felt that “Humanity is loved, and therefore we too must love humanity.” While resonating with the echo that humanity is already loved so deeply, I felt that we too should love humanity.

While gently reflecting on how we, who are loved by the Universal God, can in turn love humanity with love, I prayed, sending love to all countries, all humanity, and all living beings. Thank you very much.

[Yuka-sensei]

Thank you very much. Being able, after such a long time, to pray for each country one by one with the kotodama “Jin Rui Soku Kami Nari” brought great happiness and joy. And as GOI-sensei teaches, without grasping the past, being aware that today is a different day from yesterday, and focusing on this moment—sending love because today’s self is fully loved—this truly felt like a time of concentrating on such moments.

This is also possible because we are able to connect with all of you online, transcending time and space. In 2026, many things are happening, but while deeply recognizing that the energy we emit is truly love and harmony, we would like to continue sending this Light from now on.

[Yuka-sensei & Rika-sensei]

Everyone, thank you very much for your truly precious prayers today. Thank you very much. Thank you, Rika-sensei as well. Thank you. Goodbye.
