To all readers of the Zoom Prayer Meeting Newsletter
Thank you always for your participation.
I am sending the message from Fumi and Dot to everyone in Japan, which was shared at last night's prayer meeting.
Message from Fumi-san to everyone in Japan during the Zoom Prayer Meeting on Saturday night, July 26, 2025
Good evening, everyone. It’s morning here, and nighttime in Japan. I’m so happy to spend this time together with you all.
When I received the invitation from SAITO-san, I wondered what I should talk about. But he told me, “When it’s a free talk, don’t think too much. Just look at the faces of everyone in Japan, and the message truly needed that day will naturally arise from your heart.”
So today I’m speaking freely from the heart. First of all, as a member of Byakko, what I always consider most important is the “Prayer for World Peace.”
GOI Sensei said, “This prayer is a covenant with the divine world. Wherever this prayer is offered, the great Light of salvation will shine forth, bringing salvation to oneself and exerting a tremendous power toward the enlightenment and harmony of all humanity.”
Receiving that power, I believe all of us have been deeply moved and inspired in our souls by GOI Sensei’s mission to save humanity, and that’s how we’ve continued walking this path.
When I reflect on that, I truly feel how sacred and extraordinary this is. GOI Sensei declared himself a Messiah, and I truly believe that we, as his spiritual embodiments, have inherited his will, and each of us has received the divine mission to save the world, now and in the future.
I believe this is also the divine mission of Japan. While America has only a 250-year history, Japan’s history stretches far back—
Tracing it back to its origin, from the descent of the Heavenly Grandchild, Japan has passed through eras as the country of Yamato, the Land of the Rising Sun, and now, as modern Japan. I truly believe that Japan's mission has always been to connect Heaven and Earth and to bring harmony and enlightenment to the Earth and all life.
My mother is Japanese, and I was born and raised in Tokyo, so I feel truly proud to have been born with this divine mission.
From those early years until now, I’ve always felt this deep desire: “I want to be a bridge between East and West,” “I want to be a bridge between Japan and the United States.” So when I first saw the message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth”—I was 23 at the time—it struck me instantly: “This is why I was born.” I believe all of you also connected with Byakko through such heartfelt awakenings.
I truly believe each of you is a precious soul companion.
Now, regarding the bond between Japan and the U.S.—GOI Sensei traveled to America in 1970 with MASAMI Sensei.
They visited many places, starting with Niagara Falls. The Dragon God of Niagara is originally said to be a majestic, pure white dragon. But when GOI Sensei arrived, the dragon appeared covered in karmic darkness, jet black in appearance.
GOI Sensei then purified it, and the dragon turned white again and soared into the sky. That story moved many to tears at the time.
That was part of GOI Sensei’s great purification of America, and afterward, they built the first pyramid in New Hampshire. At that time, MASAMI Sensei and other board members went and constructed the pyramid in Hanover.
Hanover is about a four-hour drive from Dot-san’s home.
The pyramid built there was very small, about the height of a person. When I went to see it, I heard it was purifying the karma of the Earth.
As many of you may know, the same is true of the pyramid in Japan. The deep connection between the central pyramid in Japan and the one in America is profound. I’ve always felt that “America is a truly important place.” It is said that the light descending upon Mount Fuji’s pyramid in Japan flows directly to the pyramid in America.
I believe that’s how important America’s Divine Mission truly is.
250 years ago, the Declaration of Independence was made in America. It marked the year when people from England left their homeland for the first time and founded the United States of America.
In the Declaration of Independence proclaimed at that time, there was a very important statement. (*Drafted mainly by Thomas Jefferson, together with other committee members)
There, they declared that “all are equal.” That all people are equal… It states in the Declaration that “all people are equal and have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
So, the founding spirit of the United States... After this, SAITO-san and Dot-san will speak about “E Pluribus Unum,” the Latin phrase written on the front of the Great Seal of the United States. (*the national seal of the U.S.) Right beside me, there is a mandala representing the reverse side of that seal. (*the mandala hanging to the left on Fumi-san’s screen) This mandala symbolizes the reverse side of the Great Seal, which SAITO-san will be referring to.
If you look at the back of the U.S. one-dollar bill, you’ll see printed on both sides the words from the front of the Great Seal that SAITO-san will speak about, and the words from the reverse side, as shown on this mandala. Both are written in Latin.
(*Images are displayed at the end)
The Latin phrase on the front, “E Pluribus Unum,” means “Out of many, one.” On the reverse, there are also two powerful Latin phrases: “Annuit Cœptis,” which means “God has favored our undertakings,” and “Novus Ordo Seclorum,” which means “A new order of the ages.”
In this way, the seal declares the birth of a new era. It proclaims the emergence of a New Age—a new generation. The sacred mission of the United States is to realize that new era. Though it has not yet been fulfilled...
With your help, we will lead America to fulfill this mission. That is the spirit expressed in the words of the Great Seal.
In the new era where the Divine Mission is fulfilled, people will live more deeply connected to Heaven. I believe the sacred mission flowed into the founding of the United States 250 years ago to help create such an age.
The relationship between Japan and the United States is often described as a vertical and horizontal relationship. Japan plays the yin (receptive) role, and America the yang (active) role. As these forces unite, both countries carry profound missions. But we are engaged even more deeply—at the level of global salvation work.
In American spiritual communities, it is often said that “America is a great experiment.”
That experiment is: to bring together people from all over the world—with diverse backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and religions—and integrate them into one. It is said that America is the place where such a grand experiment is unfolding.
To succeed in that, America is now undergoing a very difficult time—a period of deep purification. I believe your prayers and your work for world salvation are contributing greatly to America’s Divine Mission.
So truly, thank you all for your prayers. I believe we are standing at the center of the vertical and horizontal cross. And again, I feel tears come... Our work with Byakko, with the white light (*the Great White Light of Byakko) —we are consciously fulfilling our role of sending that light out into the world. And your morning and evening prayers are helping to spread that light globally.
Let us remain conscious of that, confirm it, and truly take pride in it... I personally feel great pride in this.
I believe that over many lifetimes—together with all of you—we were born into this life, and now we are working together. Please also think of it that way.
Let each of us connect from the heart, and join hands in GOI Sensei’s great salvific mission. With all of you, I want to bring Japan’s Divine Mission to life and help America fully fulfill its Divine Mission. I think that’s probably enough time. What do you think, SAITO-san?
May Peace Prevail on Earth.
Thank you very much.

It is an honor to participate in this event as we focus together, from Japan and the USA, on Peace - living in right relationship with self-others and all of life.
And as we honor the missions of our respective countries it is a great joy to dedicate a Global Silent Minute to both the mission of the USA to embrace all differences across the globe and embody them within our country; and the mission of Japan to bring down the form of the Divine world to Earth and unfold it within each individual's heart and body.
The USA says E Pluribus Unum - of many, One, while Japan gives voice and expression to Essential Divinity.
Together, our countries form an even-armed cross which represents the New Era of Peace on Earth.
May Peace Prevail on Earth.
