Theme: " How to Face Yourself as You Progress in Fading Away "
I have heard from many people who have been “Believing it is a fading away and praying for World Peace” for many years, but they feel that it does not seem to be going away. In addition to this, I have reflected on the history of my own mental itinerancy and have noticed certain trends in the paths I have taken and the mental states of the people I have met.
Here are seven of those tendencies and their countermeasures.
1. Not fully believing in God's view of human beings as children of God.
"Man is originally a spirit from God, and not a karmic existence. He lives under the constant guidance and protection provided by his Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits." Replace “Man” with “I, XXXX” and say it out loud, over and over again, and write it down, and you will really believe it.
2. Practicing with a vague longing thought, “I wish it would disappear."
Two weeks ago on Saturday night, I said, “Let us determine whether our desire for Divine Revival is a sincere desire or a yearning desire. In that case, as Shohei Otani said, as long as you look up to Divine Revival, it will never come true. You must abandon your longing and seriously entrust your destiny to the Guardian Deities and Spirits. Then, with the awareness that you have entrusted your entire destiny to the Guardian Deities and Spirits, you can overturn your beliefs by “Think as disappearing it and Prayer for the World Peace.”
3. “Fading away” is used in a misguided way.
If you use the term “fading away” only in reference to the state of others or society, and do not focus on the tendency of your own thoughts, the “fading away” that the Guardian Deities and Spirits manifested to erase will not disappear. The “fading away” that the guardian spirit manifests to erase does not disappear. In this case, the solution is to keep looking at what is the “true fading away” (by aiming at the target) and keep practicing (by shooting the bow and arrow), just as in archery and other target shooting sports.
4. Accepting the thought of give up, “I have the will to do it, but it won't last."
Some people believe that the time has not yet come for the soul to flourish, but if you are content with such comfort, you may find that you are the only one who has not changed, even if the world is at peace. If you will only light a fire in your heart and become serious, you can connect with the guidance of Guardian Deities and Spirits, make the fading away disappear, and live a life that expresses the divine in thought, word, and deed.
5. Thinking that “fading away” as you can erase it yourself.
The “fading away” is something that is erased by the Guardian Deities and Spirits, not something that can be erased by our ego. If we approach this with a mind of total surrender to the Guardian Deities and Spirits, saying, “This is how they are erasing my fading away, and I am grateful for that,” we can easily erase the “fading away” that we guessed would be difficult.
6. Neglecting biased thoughts
Biased thoughts are habits of thinking that are far from the divine, such as assumptions, obsessions, judgments, misperceptions, and attachments, which are the main cause of fading away. To neglect biased thoughts is the same as closing your eyes, covering your ears, and pretending not to see your own fading away. Facing the facts in the back of your mind is not always a pleasant experience, but by practicing seeing them not with emotional thoughts but with divine awareness and compassion, you will be able to calmly let go of the “fading away” that appears as a habitual thought. You will be able to let go of the “disappearing figure” that appears as a habitual thought.
7. Not practicing yourself “Forgive yourself and love yourself
If you are in a state of mind where you cannot forgive or love yourself, it can be said that you are unaware of the cesspool of self-denial and self-limitation created by the ego here and there in your mind. In such a case, by loving, embracing, forgiving, and loving ourselves with motherly love, our self-denial and self-limitation will fade away, and we will be able to forgive and love ourselves naturally.
A world in which everyone is connected with the divine is the world of our near future, which is unfolding ahead of our daily, steady practice.
In addition, when the people of the world come to face the Divine Revival, there will come a time when they face themselves, without exception. By that time, everyone, regardless of the color of their eyes or skin, will be practicing “Think as disappearing it and Prayer for the World Peace."
At that time, we exist as a living senior master of “Think as disappearing it and Prayer for the World Peace”, and as an example of “This is what happened as a result of practicing this way of life”.
Saturday night will be a time for us to imagine ourselves in the near future and share our awareness that will be the cornerstone of our way of life at that time.
