Dear all Zoom Prayer Meeting attendees,
Theme: "Discerning True Prayer from Wishes "
This time, we will clearly distinguish between "prayer" and "wishes," with a true prayerful heart that has transcended the ego, we will envelop the world with the light of the Universal God.
We have been taught that "prayer is to declare and resonate with the light of life as words." Through true prayer, we can dissolve the small self into the great life (the great self at the source of life) that gives rise to and nurtures all things and lives in a state where we have reduced all physical bodies to the divine self.
Our daily lives are always accompanied by prayer, and while we may aspire to the Divinity within ourselves, the thoughts that appear are two-fold: one that limits ourselves and one that appears as a one-sided judgment of others. (It is fading away)
When we see the "thoughts that do not recognize divinity" and "thoughts that judge and condemn oneself and others" that appear even while we wish to "remain divine," we are reminded of the importance of true prayer. When I hear "true prayer," I think of the Prayer for the World Peace.
I love the prayers "May Peace Prevail on Earth" and "May peace be in XX." But I also love the prayer, "May our missions be accomplished." When I think of a specific individual, including myself, I know no prayer surpassing the words "May XX-san's missions be accomplished."
For example, when a loved one is suffering from an illness, it is only natural to pray, "I pray that XX-san's illness will be cured soon." This is a natural and good thought for a person with a Physical Body. However, when we look at the person from the perspective of their Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits, the "wishes" that we believe to be "prayers" may not necessarily be in the same direction as the guidance of the person's Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits.
For example, suppose the Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits of that person plan to leave that person in a state of illness for a few more years to refine and raise their soul. In that case, our wish for "a speedy recovery from illness" will not be able to fulfill its role as a true prayer.
As I mentioned at the beginning, a true prayer is an outpouring of energy that allows the workings of life to be fulfilled. That means that if we make a wish in a different direction from our Guardian Spirits and Guardian Deities, we will not be sending them the light of support.
So how can we pray in a way that helps the light of the other person's life to shine fully? I assert that the best way to pray is to pray, "May XX-san's missions be accomplished." Because that is a true prayer.
When I consider this, I am deeply moved to learn that 69 years ago, in 1955, the supreme prayer for individuals, "May our heavenly mission be fulfilled," was announced.
When we pray “May XX missions be accomplished.”, our hearts connect with our Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits, and the light from our true self resonates out. Such true prayers are also a very powerful support for the Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits of the person to whom we are praying.
It is the Guardian Deities and Guardian Spirits of that person who know what kind of changes in fate will lead to the deeper development of that person's soul. When the guidance of those Guardian Deities and Spirits resonates with our prayers, it will powerfully promote the development of that person's True Self.
On Saturday nights, the hearts of all those who guess about nature, living things, and humanity around the world, and the hearts of the gods, good spirits, and cosmic angels of the universe who work to save the world will be united and connected, and we will make it a time to brightly illuminate the world.
