1) Vaccine censorship
NHK reported a fabricated program about the corona issue by falsifying the vaccination deaths to be deaths due to coronavirus infection. However, most of the mass media has not reported this except a few. Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare reports that 2,000 people have died after vaccination, but the actual number is estimated to be far larger. Although almost all doubts and criticisms against vaccines have been censored and removed by Google and YouTube until recently, an increasing number of articles about the harmfulness of the vaccines has come to be seen through the internet, local TV, and weekly magazines.
2) Hiroshima vision
The participants to the summit visited the Hiroshima Museum and saw the displays. It was a good opportunity to awaken their conscience. However, the Hiroshima vision that affirms the effectiveness of nuclear weapons is criticized to be betraying Hiroshima’s heart that desires eternal peace and abolishment of nuclear weapons. Hiroshima’s heart is handed down to young generations including small children. Young volunteer tour guides who explain the desire for peace in English have been inspiring many tourists from abroad.
3) Myanmar
A huge cyclone hit the western part of Myanmar on May 14, killing at least 435 people.
4) Russia & Ukraine
It is reported that battles are expanding to Russian territories with invasion of Ukrainian soldiers and drone attacks. In Hiroshima, Prime Minister Kishida promised Zelensky to supply Ukraine with 100 vehicles of the defense forces.
