- Unification Church
Hidden control of the Japanese politics by the Unification Church is still continuing. As a result of the unified local elections in April, 90% of the incumbent local assemblymen who are associated with the Unification Church have been re-elected. Investigations into the Unification Church’s criminal activities by the Agency for Cultural Affairs are stagnant due to pressures from politicians under the influence of the Unification Church. One of the LDP’s (ruling Liberal Democratic Party) Diet members says it is difficult to issue a disbandment order to the Unification Church. This is because there is a long history in the cozy relationship between the LDP and various cults including the Unification Church, Japan Conference, and Soka Gakkai.
- Iran
In Iran, poisonous gas attacks have been repeatedly given on girl’s schools all over the country, making hundreds of schoolgirls to be hospitalized. Despite the parents’ protests and demands for investigation, the government has not made clear who is doing these and for what reason.
- Russia and Ukraine
President Zelensky declared that Ukraine would shortly begin inversion attacks. Prior to that, various destructive activities have taken place in the Russian territory such as explosion of oil tanks in Crimea and derailment of cargo trains in southern Russia near the border with Ukraine.
