- Japan’s consolidated local elections
The latter half of the elections will be run from April 16 and 23. Because of the extremely low voting rate in the former half, candidates supported by industry and religious organizations ended up being very advantageous. As a result, ordinary citizens have fallen into even resignation and indifference to politics.
- Myanmar
On April 11, Myanmar’s national air forces made an air attack on a village in the north-western part of the country, killing at least 100 citizens who gathered at an event conducted by the National Unity Government.
- Russia and Ukraine
Ukrainian forces say Russia changed their operation in Bakhmut, and decided to completely destroy the buildings in the city. It seems 75% of the city is now under control of Russian forces.
